It has been a great pleasure to serve as your Chineham Borough and CountyCouncillor over the last 7 years. I was first elected to the Borough in May 2002 and then to County in 2005. I enjoy serving our Community and the Borough as a whole and I feel that during this time I have helped to solve many issues for residents whether big or small and have always tried to be responsive to peoples concerns and forthright in taking the necessary action to get things done.
I was elected as a Cabinet Member in 2006 when Conservatives took control of the Council. I was given the portfolio for the Environment and also “Climate Change Champion”. With the support of my Conservative colleagues, my first big challenge and success was to keep our weekly bin collection.
Conservatives were returned to run the Borough Council in the last elections and I was very pleased to be invited to serve as a cabinet member once again. I am currently Cabinet Member for Education and Community Support........
