£3.8 MILLION FOR SCHOOL Hampshire County Council is set to expand the Great Binfields Primary school from oneform entry to two-form entry. Six new classrooms and other facilities will be built at an estimated cost of £3,840,000.

Councillor Elaine Still reports: “The extra places will cater for the growing school-age population in the Chineham area.

“I am pleased to see that the design of the extension matches the existing school, so the end-result will look properly planned and of the highest quality.

“I see this as great news for Chineham. It’s an investment in our community’s future.”

Paul Miller adds: “This is part of the investment in our essential infrastructure that Basingstoke needs as it expands.”
