Taylors Farm/Sherfield Park under the spotlight.

CSPO’s are cracking down on dog fouling

Irresponsible dog owners risking people’s health, as well as letting their pets cause an unsightly nuisance on the borough streets and green spaces, now risk a fine. Community Safety Patrol Officers are issuing on-the-spot fines of £50 to anyone seen not clearing up after their dog whilst they are patrolling the borough. Refusal to pay the fine could land the owner in court and result in a heftier fine.

Most dog owners I meet on my walks are very resonsible people and clear up after their pets.

However its the minority who dont that will be targeted and rightly so for all the reasons stated above.
